The city’s first all-day creative arts festival is here! It’s been four years since our last outing in 2004, but this time we’re back with a difference. KLue Urbanscapes 2008 is going “user-generated”! We’re working together with “users” such as the general public, partners, collectives and individuals - each of them expressing themselves uniquely and contributing to the festival as a whole.
Aside from our hand-picked programme of music, arts, film and marketplace vendors, we’re also opening up the festival for YOU to take part in! Whether you’re interested in performing, submitting artworks or coming aboard as a partner, find out how you can be involved.
This year, we’re doing our best to make Urbanscapes 2008 a true community experience. Whether it’s music, film/video, shopping & lifestyle, art or even on-ground collaborations and partnerships, you can be part of the Urbanscapes 2008 experience and contribute towards making the overall event a success.

Capture Nature is an annual environmental digital photography competition initiated by a group of students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Started in 2007, the event allows the passion youths have for photography to be channeled towards environmental awareness, conservation and action. This year, the competition will be held in conjunction with the ASEAN+3 Youth Festival, a youth-for-youth initiative supported by the National Youth Council, Singapore.
The slogan for this competition is “Don’t Let It Melt In Your Hands“. This competition is open to all youths from ASEAN + 3 countries and who are aged between 18 and 25. Participants will be required to submit the best pictures of nature in digital format, coupled with a short write-up in English to the email address below.
